Sweet on Meat (2006)

I was doing some research about my father's hometown, Bynum, NC. I came across a few oral history recordings and this quote inspired me.

“Now if anybody was in bad shape, worse than I was, if I had two dollars and he didn’t have none, he could have both of mine.”

That section of the audio brought to mind the idea of the potlatch as introduced to me by the Situationist, Raoul Vaneigem. Under that inspiration, the only practical course of action was to feed my ants steak.
